Meet Dr. James Lee (Humble, TX)

James D. Lee, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he completed clinical training at Heights Community Hospital and Hope Clinic. He also earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University.

With over 13 years in the eye care field, Dr. Lee began as a technician and assistant before becoming a licensed Therapeutic and Glaucoma Specialist. He provides comprehensive eye exams, fits glasses and contact lenses, and treats conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and post-surgical care.

What began as a college job soon became a lasting passion. Dr. Lee finds fulfillment in helping patients achieve clearer vision and a better understanding of their eye health.

He speaks English, Spanish, and Korean, and values strong, clear communication with every patient. Outside the clinic, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, bowling, pickleball, and golf.
